Small Business Edition
Novacoast worked with Novell to create a small business server, which provides a combination of Novell enterprise software with a few open source projects and a easy to use web based server administration console.
Web Administration
Small businesses can use NOWS SBE to keep track of software and manage their business from a web-based browser interface.
User Provisioning
User access provisioning is also organized into an easy to use interface. Administrators can grant and revoke access to disparate applications with single click.
The DataSync Engine: A Platform for Expansion
Novell Data Synchronizer is a real-time engine for the synchronization of collaboration data. Built for Novell, the engine was designed to support data sync for the largest enterprises. The engine allows developers to create connectors which provide bi-directional synchronization from one connected system to any other.
Synchronization
Designed with a specific schema for collaboration data, Novell Data Synchronizer syncs all of your basic email, calendaring, teaming, and CRM data. It can also be easily extended to include any data type. Additionally, data types can be mapped so any system can talk to any other.
Current Connectors:
Novacoast developed three connectors for the initial release of the product, Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce.com, and SugarCRM. Novacoast is also releasing a free Twitter connector coming soon.
